This service can be used to request a cruising permit for foreign vessels. The application should be made five days prior to the arrival of the vessel to the Maldives.

Permit to Enter Fuvamulah Harbour

This service can be used to request for a permit to enter Fuvahmulah Harbour. Vessels can only approach the harbor with an approval from the harbor officials. Vessels should leave the harbor once the purpose of entry is completed and before expiration of the permit or if requested by harbor officials due to an emergency.

Produced Material Quality Approval

This service provides the applicant with an approval to legally carry out the production of a specified construction material locally. When producing the specified materials locally, it is mandatory to confirm from the Ministry the quality and standard of the produced materials. This serves as an action of quality control and standardisation of these materials before they are used in construction works.

This service is for reporting incidents that may have occurred at tourist establishments. Such incidents must be informed to the ministry within 1 hour of incident, followed by this application which must be submitted to the Ministry within 24 hours of the incident.

Boundary Demarcation of Resorts

This service allows the applicant to submit boundary demarcation, register and/or extend the boundary of islands leased for tourism purposes as per the regulation number: R-90/2023. The demarcation will go into effect once it is incorporated into the lease agreement for the island.

Foreign Vessel Charter License

This service can be used by a foreign tourist vessel to obtain a Charter Licence. This licence will be issued to foreign vessels which have already obtained a cruising permit. Vessels engaged in commercial or private charters should obtain a charter licence to accommodate tourists in the Maldives.
